Sanjeev will head the Treasury division of the Company, leading Foreign Exchange management, Liquidity management and correspondent banking business
Netherlands, 25 February, 2021: TerraPay, a global digital payments infrastructure company and solutions provider, announced the onboarding of Sanjeev Gupta as ‘Head of Treasury’.
Sanjeev would spearhead Global Treasury operations, strengthen existing banking partnerships and explore new relationships, proactively manage balance sheet exposure in Foreign Exchange through use of advanced hedging tools and oversee critical aspects of liquidity function. He would play an integral role in ensuring that the Treasury business is managed in line with partner expectations and as per global industry standards.

A seasoned Industry leader with over 25 years in the Banking and Financial Services sector, across various disciplines in the field of Treasury, Sanjeev joins TerraPay from his prior role as Executive Director at Standard Chartered Bank. During the stint, Sanjeev was managing the Foreign Exchange business for the Bank covering the Middle East, North Africa and Pakistan (MENAP) region, for over 13 years.
